My photo

I am a very quiet person that dabbles in many hobbies.  I have found writing to be my passion to take me away from my stress and help me relax.  Very family oriented, I enjoy spending time with family and friends doing a big cookout or just having a good round of sister talk with the girls. I take each and blessing as a gift and never question why things happen.  We have to take the good with the bad to complete ourselves as a person.

Final Vote and Quality Time

By final vote from family and friends, the cover of the new book has been decided.  I have to give special thanks to a good friend of mine for all the hard work she did in bringing this cover together for me.  I couldn't have done it without her help.  She really doesn't know how much I appreciate all she has done to help me with this project.  Now all I have to do is finalize the novel itself.

Since I'm on vacation next week for my birthday, that will be on the top of my list of things to do after I visit the DMV.  I really hope the lines are moving Monday and more than one person is working.  If you've never gotten the two year sticker before, I highly recommend it.  I don't think I will ever go back to the old way unless this is discontinued for some reason.

Well back to granddaughter.  I am spending the weekend with her.  We've had pizza, wings, candy and other junk food I normally would not eat and for good reason.  She is seven now and I probably don't have much quality time left  to do this with her before she realizes hanging out with grandma and grandpa isn't cool.

Have a great weekend and as always, I end with my blog a plug.

All Rev'ed up for the Daytona 500

I'm excited to have racing back.  I have been a NASCAR fan for long time now and love Jeff Gordon.  I get needled by my family members every year about this time because I plan my weekends around which races I will watch and usually have a menu to go with it.  I even have my seven-year old granddaughter watching the races with me.  Her favorite was the M&M car until Kyle Busch took over.

So its time to dust off my Jeff Gordon collectibles, haul out my Jeff Gordon blanket and fill my Jeff Gordon mug with my favorite Jeff Gordon beverage, "Pepsi."

Did I mention I have all this Jeff Gordon stuff because my family gave it to me?  The very same people who ask me how I can watch cars go in circles for hours.

Anyway, I'm excited and can't wait to hear Darrell Waltrip say his most famous words...."Boogity, boogity, boogity, let's go racing boys!"

As always, I have to end my blogs with a plug.

Coming Soon

It's finally done!  With all the blood, sweat, and tears behind me now, "Nayla's Dilemma - The Ends of Justice" is nearing completion.  Minor editing details are being done to the story itself and the eBook cover is in the beginning stages of its final design.

To understand the sequel, the first book should be read. So to help readers to understand "Nayla's Dilemma,"  I am leaving "Obsessive/Obsession" at the cheap price of $0.99.  Pick up an electronic copy at www.amazon.com, Google eBooks, or www.smashwords.com.  Google and Smashwords offer the ebook in other formats if you don't have a Kindle and the price is still $0.99.
